Derric J. Saville
Derric is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Geography; with double minors in Political Science and Geology. He has a Master's Degree in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School, where he received his JD with Honors. He moved to Minnesota after graduation; set up a real estate law practice; took a position as Corporate Attorney and then as General Counsel for Title One; later established his own title insurance company, Saville Title Services, which he operated for 12 years, and now works as an Attorney/Legal Review consultant for Farm Credit Leasing Services Corporation, an instrumentality of the United States. He served on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Head Injury Foundation, was elected by his peers to serve as Chair of the Board of the then renamed Brain Injury Association. He was appointed by the Commissioner of Commerce in 2011 to serve on the Uniform Conveyancing Forms Task Force, and presently serves as its Chair. He is a published poet; and enjoys spending time with his wife, and their dog, in Champlin, Minnesota.
