Kyle S. Jones, a Senior Portfolio Strategist, joined PFMAM in 2012. As a senior member of the Portfolio Strategies Group, he works primarily with the firm's Fixed Income Separate Account clients, helping to devise customized portfolio strategies that meet their specific investment needs. He leverages a strong quantitative background to focus on portfolio construction, macroeconomic analysis, risk management, and the modeling, analyzing and structuring of portfolio risks.
Mr. Jones is highly proficient in macro portfolio construction, asset allocation and fixed income portfolio management, efficiently managing portfolio risks and optimizing the risk-reward characteristics of portfolios to attempt to achieve high risk adjusted returns with lower volatility. In addition, Mr. Jones is active in the development and delivery of the PFMAM fixed income portfolio management desk's views and strategies to clients, prospects, and third party consultants.
Prior to joining PFM, Mr. Jones spent over a decade at JPMorgan Chase in a variety of capacities, most recently as an Investment Specialist for their Institutional Sales business. Kyle Jones earned his bachelor's degree in Business Management from Dillard University, and his MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. He is a board member of the Chicago Booth Black Alumni Association, and an active participant in the Dillard University Alumni Association. Mr. Jones is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and educational seminars.
